For many years, neon lighting has been a popular night light in clubs, billboards, bars, signs, and even in trucks and cars. Neon light tubes are put under the vehicle to release a striking glow, giving your vehicle an additional feature for others on the road to admire. Although there are newer, more advanced types of lighting systems used today such as LED lights, neon lights still have major fans.
Much has been said regarding neon under car lights by car lovers; some good and some bad. In comparison with LED lights, neon lights are much brighter, which makes it a great choice for those who want to add an eye-catching or vibrant aura under and around their car. The way the neon lights glow under and around your car makes it great to work around your the cars angles, giving the feeling of floating while presenting other fantastic features of your custom car. The lights are set in a special kind of plastic that protects the neon tubes. The protection gives the lights added durability.
Meanwhile, LED light bulbs aren't as bright. Because of that, you may need a lot of LED tubes to be as bright as neon lights. If you would rather a solid and fluid underbody system, neon lights are the better choice. You even can put these neon lights on smaller places on the inside of your car such as on the dash, on the door and under the driver seat. As far as classic car lighting is concerned, neon lights are unsurpassable.
Neon lights are even generally cheaper than LED lights. These lights are an easy fix when you really want a light system right now, largely because they are easy to install. You can plug them in your car's cigarette lighter. Neon lighting can even be set to pulse to your stereo system. On a functional level, neon lights have been standard for many years.
However, Fanatics of LED lights view neon undercar lights as the 'old school' in car lighting. LED lighting's lack of a glow effect is counterbalanced through its dependability since each LED light bulb lasts longer than a neon tube. With LED lights you can digitally synchronize them to produce several colors or patterns, unlike neon lights which will only show a fairly limited color set. LED lighting can easily be controlled via blue-tooth or infrared. Underbody LED lights typically start up faster than neon lighting, particularly in colder temperatures. But most of all, the sealed LED tubes will not use as much power compared to neon light bulbs.
Despite the fact that car enthusiasts want to say that neon lights are a thing of the past, your underbody lighting system depends on how you want your car to look. It's a known fact that neon lighting will give cars more of a glow, more of an edge, and more charm. A great deal of the old-school and retro dialogue is what makes neon lights a classic night light in custom cars. The glowing elements of these lights ensures that your car receives the undivided attention it deserves.
